Yann was invited by Interplay to participate in the Exhibition Road Festival in June 2023, and collaborate with Dr Edward Johns, who is the director of the Robotics Department at Imperial College London.
The core of his research is to study how robots can learn to physically interact with objects.
The resulting painting was made live during the weekend (15 hours). It was a crossover between their respective practices, and inspired by the process followed by a robot remotely contacting Dall-e to identify the object it is meant to have an interaction with.
